School Camp
Start the school year with purpose
Unite your school and set a clear spiritual tone for the year ahead. School Camp is a focused, high-impact experience for Christian schools and homeschool groups—simple, intentional, spiritually rich, and genuinely fun.
A spiritual launch for your school year
School Camp is a three-day, beginning-of-year retreat designed to help Christian schools and homeschool groups start strong spiritually. More than a field trip or getaway, this is a focused time of biblical preaching, meaningful connection, and shared experiences that unify students and strengthen faculty leadership. Schools bring their own teachers and chaperones, allowing their team to shape the spiritual tone of the year while we provide an engaging environment that refreshes hearts, builds unity, and anchors your school around what matters most.

Intentional. Relational. Christ-centered.
We understand the unique calling of Christian education. School Camp isn’t designed to replace your leadership—it strengthens it. Your teachers remain the primary influencers while we provide a setting that amplifies spiritual focus, shared experiences, and meaningful connection.
Our goal is simple: to create an environment where God’s Word is clearly taught, relationships are strengthened, and your school begins the year unified around what matters most.

Want to invest deeply in your student leaders?
If your goal is to intentionally develop upperclassmen and students with leadership potential, our Student Leadership Conference provides focused training, practical wisdom, and biblical challenge designed to strengthen the students who help shape your school culture.

What should I bring to camp?
Bible, twin sheets or a sleeping bag, pillow, towels, toiletries, camera, flashlight, spending money (for The Sweet Shoppe, General Store, Cool Beans Coffee Shop, and Craft Truck), swimsuit, jacket, sports clothes for activities, nice casual clothes for informal services, and at least one pair of shoes that can get wet.
Casual dress is appropriate for the informal camp atmosphere.
Ladies/Girls: Clothing should be loose-fitting, come at least to the top of the knee, and cover midriffs and undergarments. Please no low necklines, narrow shoulder straps, or tank tops. For evening services, we encourage nicer, non-athletic attire. For swimming, dark shirts and shorts will be worn over swimsuits.
Men/Boys: Clothing should be loose-fitting and come at least to the top of the knee. Please no gaping tank tops. For evening services, we encourage nicer, non-athletic attire. For swimming, dark shirts will be worn with swim trunks.
The Wilds reserves the right to ask anyone to change his or her outfit if, in the estimation of the staff, it does not comply with this policy.
-
Should I bring spending money?
All camp activities offered during the week are included in the cost of camp. Spending money is recommended for purchases at The Sweet Shoppe, General Store, Cool Beans, Craft Truck, and vending machines. Most campers spend about $50–$75.
Most campers utilize WildsPay instead of cash for their spending money. WildsPay allows parents to preload funds onto a camper’s account for secure, cashless purchases and is available to all summer campers and sponsors.
-
What if I have special dietary requirements?
If you have special dietary requirements, please contact us two weeks before your arrival, and will provide you with a sample menu.
At this time, we are unable to prepare alternative foods for specialized diets, but campers may bring clearly labeled, pre-packaged supplemental food. We provide access to refrigerator, freezer, and pantry storage, as well as a microwave and toaster oven during meal times.
We are happy to provide guidance in advance to help families prepare appropriately.
-
What if I’m hungry in the middle of the day?
Did we mention we have The Sweet Shoppe and Cool Beans Coffee Shop? We have all the junk food you need to keep you sugared up for a month (ice cream, candy bars, freezes, smoothies, and milkshakes, just to name a few)! These are also great places to hang out, get out of the heat, and enjoy some time together.
