Junior camp is a big deal! We meticulously craft our week-long program for younger campers, combining high-energy fun and spiritual impact. Spiritual direction set during adolescent years can lead to a lifelong commitment to Christ. Junior camp at The Wilds of New England finds the perfect balance between crazy fun activities and times of quiet reflection on God’s Word.

Registrations are processed in the order they are received. A nonrefundable $50 registration fee per person must accompany each registration. Balance is due upon arrival at camp.
Camper Memory Packet: A Camper Memory Packet (team shirt, 6-week devotional book, cabin photo, all-camp photo, and QR code with that week’s photos) can be added to your camper’s registration for just $30. You can add it during the online registration process or by contacting our office. This packet is available until check-in.
Junior camper eligibility
Age & Grade Requirements
- Must be at least 9 years old by September 1, 2026
- Must be entering Grades 4-7 in the fall of 2026
New Hampshire Medical Requirements*
- Immunization Record
- Proof of recent (within the past two years) physical
*The State of New Hampshire requires camps to have immunization records and proof of a recent (within the past two years) physical on file. Each camper must be immunized against the following: polio, measles, mumps, rubella, diphtheria, pertussis, and tetanus. In the event that parents choose not to immunize their child, they must sign a statement releasing the camp from any liability due to exposure to any communicable disease (including any consequences from the withholding of tetanus immunization should their child sustain a cut or puncture wound while on the campsite).
Please upload your child’s immunization records (or Immunization Waiver) and proof of a recent (within the last two years) physical when you register your child.
Arrival & departure
- Check-in: 2:30 – 4:30 p.m. Monday
- Pick-up: 8:00 a.m. Saturday after breakfast

Scripture memory verses
Memorizing God’s Word remains a cornerstone of our summer youth camps. As Psalm 119:105 reminds us, Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. The truths campers hide in their hearts at camp continue with them long after summer ends. Campers can access this summer’s memory verses beginning in March to get a head start before arriving at camp.

Our dedicated counselors build influential relationships with campers through nightly devotions, cabin discussions, and intentional, one-on-one mentoring. Should I bring spending money?
All camp activities offered during the week are included in the cost of camp. Spending money is recommended for purchases at The Sweet Shoppe, General Store, Cool Beans, Craft Truck, and vending machines. Most campers spend about $50–$75.
Most campers utilize WildsPay instead of cash for their spending money. WildsPay allows parents to preload funds onto a camper’s account for secure, cashless purchases and is available to all summer campers and sponsors.

What is WildsPay?
WildsPay is a way for summer campers and sponsors to purchase items at camp without having to use or carry cash. At check-in, campers using WildsPay will be given a waterproof wristband linked to the account set up by their parents, which will be used for making all purchases at camp. Purchases will be made by scanning their wristband at the register or vending machine.
The goal is to help eliminate the need for cash and loose change.

What if I have special dietary requirements?
If you have special dietary requirements, please contact us two weeks before your arrival, and will provide you with a sample menu.
At this time, we are unable to prepare alternative foods for specialized diets, but campers may bring clearly labeled, pre-packaged supplemental food. We provide access to refrigerator, freezer, and pantry storage, as well as a microwave and toaster oven during meal times.
We are happy to provide guidance in advance to help families prepare appropriately.

What if I’m hungry in the middle of the day?
Did we mention we have The Sweet Shoppe and Cool Beans Coffee Shop? We have all the junk food you need to keep you sugared up for a month (ice cream, candy bars, freezes, smoothies, and milkshakes, just to name a few)! These are also great places to hang out, get out of the heat, and enjoy some time together.

What if I leave or lose something at camp?
Contact Lost & Found via the button below and complete the requested information. Although we cannot assume responsibility for lost or stolen items, our team will gladly attempt to locate your missing item(s). If found, items can be shipped to you at cost. Local pick-up is also available on an individual basis. Lost items must be requested within 30 days of your camp week.
