What should I bring to camp?
Bible, twin sheets or a sleeping bag, pillow, towels, toiletries, camera, flashlight, spending money (for The Sweet Shoppe, General Store, Cool Beans Coffee Shop, and Craft Truck), swimsuit, jacket, sports clothes for activities, nice casual clothes for informal services, and at least one pair of shoes that can get wet.
Casual dress is appropriate for the informal camp atmosphere.
Ladies/Girls: Clothing should be loose-fitting, come at least to the top of the knee, and cover midriffs and undergarments. Please no low necklines, narrow shoulder straps, or tank tops. For evening services, we encourage nicer, non-athletic attire. For swimming, dark shirts and shorts will be worn over swimsuits.
Men/Boys: Clothing should be loose-fitting and come at least to the top of the knee. Please no gaping tank tops. For evening services, we encourage nicer, non-athletic attire. For swimming, dark shirts will be worn with swim trunks.

Should I bring spending money?
All camp activities offered during the week are included in the cost of camp. Spending money is recommended for purchases at The Sweet Shoppe, General Store, Cool Beans, Craft Truck, and vending machines. Most campers spend about $50–$75.
Most campers utilize WildsPay instead of cash for their spending money. WildsPay allows parents to preload funds onto a camper’s account for secure, cashless purchases and is available to all summer campers and sponsors.

What is WildsPay?
WildsPay is a way for summer campers and sponsors to purchase items at camp without having to use or carry cash. At check-in, campers using WildsPay will be given a waterproof wristband linked to the account set up by their parents, which will be used for making all purchases at camp. How many people will be in my cabin with me?
Most cabins will have 7–8 campers and 1 counselor.

Can I request someone to be in my cabin with me?
When you register, you will be allowed to request one person to room with. The person you request must be in the same grade, one grade above you, or one grade below you.
While we do our best to honor requests, placement cannot be guaranteed.

Can I request a specific counselor?
Yes. Simply write the request on your registration, and we will do our best to accommodate. While we cannot guarantee requests, we carefully review each one.

Will I like the food?
We regularly hear that our food is awesome! We promise that you will not go hungry. Our kitchen team serves balanced, hearty meals designed to keep campers energized for full days of activity.
Most meals are served family-style, allowing campers to sit together while food is brought to the table—no long lines, and seconds are available.

What if I have special dietary requirements?
If you have special dietary requirements, please contact us two weeks before your arrival, and will provide you with a sample menu.
At this time, we are unable to prepare alternative foods for specialized diets, but campers may bring clearly labeled, pre-packaged supplemental food. We provide access to refrigerator, freezer, and pantry storage, as well as a microwave and toaster oven during meal times.

What if I’m hungry in the middle of the day?
Did we mention we have The Sweet Shoppe and Cool Beans Coffee Shop? We have all the junk food you need to keep you sugared up for a month (ice cream, candy bars, freezes, smoothies, and milkshakes, just to name a few)! These are also great places to hang out, get out of the heat, and enjoy some time together.

What is there to do at camp?
There is more to do than you will be able to accomplish in one week of camp: basketball, sand volleyball, soccer, 9-Square, disc golf, Gameroom, zipline, The Jump, Laser Tag, dodgeball, gaga ball, and more! You can hang out in the Gameroom or Cool Beans Coffee Shop for ping pong, pool, foosball, carpet ball, tabletop games, and more.

What is the schedule like?
Each day includes a thoughtful balance of spiritual emphasis, all-camp activities, and personal free time. Campers stay busy, but there’s also space to build friendships and recharge.

How many services are there each day?
While there is plenty of free time each day, the services are some of the most important times of your stay here at camp. Most days, we have a morning chapel time, an afternoon topical study, and an evening service with preaching from men who are experienced and passionate in speaking to young people.

What is CIT?
The Camper-In-Training (CIT) program is an intense two-week experience designed for rising juniors, rising seniors, and recent high school graduates (age 16 by June 1) who are serious about growing in their faith and leadership. Throughout the two weeks (including intentional weekend programming), students are immersed in God’s Word, focused leadership training, and meaningful mentorships that challenge them to walk boldly in their Christian walk.

If your arrival is delayed, please call the camp office at (603) 529-0001 to hold your reservation. Those who arrive after check-in without previous notice may lose their reservation. Meals can be held no later than one hour after the scheduled meal time.

What is the schedule like?
Each day is thoughtfully structured to provide a healthy balance of spiritual enrichment, all-camp activities, and personal free time, allowing CITers to grow in their faith while also building lasting camp friendships.
The schedule includes multiple dedicated times for mentorship, leadership training sessions, and practical application opportunities.
This structure continues through the weekend with a slightly adjusted pace that provides both refreshment and preparation for the week ahead. CITers will have time to do laundry as well as reconnect with family during designated phone times when cell phones are returned for calls home. Sunday also includes a special, focused time in God’s Word on the campsite, designed specifically for CITers.

How do I know when my camper’s registration is complete?
You will receive a confirmation email regarding the status of your registration once we receive the completed registration form and the $50 non-refundable registration fee.

Is it worth registering early for Teen Camp or Junior Camp?
Absolutely! Early registration provides a discount and gives you the best opportunity to secure the week that works best for your family’s schedule.

Do you offer any Summer Camp scholarships?
Yes. We offer both the 4:19 Scholarship and the Outreach Scholarship for eligible teen and junior campers each year.

Does my camper need to bring any bedding?
Yes. Campers should bring a pillow and bedding for a twin mattress (twin sheets or a sleeping bag).

Yes. When you register your camper, you will be allowed to request one person for them to room with. The person you request must be in the same grade as your camper, one grade above your camper, or one grade below your camper.

What should my camper do with prescribed or over-the-counter medications?
Upon arrival, each summer camper will turn in any regularly prescribed medication to our health services staff. (Junior campers will also turn in any over-the-counter medications to our health services staff.) Each day, the camper will have the medicine readied by our nurse, and they will follow up to make sure they have taken the dosage for that day.

Is there someone to help my camper if they get hurt or sick?
We have a registered nurse who is on call 24 hours a day during the summer. We are also equipped with a Health Service Building that is capable of taking care of most minor injuries and illnesses. We have a great working relationship with the urgent cares in town should there be the need for anything our health services staff are not set up to handle. Be assured that we will contact you for any urgent care or hospital visits.

How can I communicate with my camper while they are at camp?
You can imagine what it would be like if we allowed a campsite full of teenagers to keep their cell phones with them during a week of camp. In order to keep the campers from being distracted and to minimize the chance for lost or stolen phones, we ask that all cell phones be left at home or turned in to a sponsor or the office during check-in.
If you need to get in touch with your child during the week, you can call our office and request to speak with him or her. The office staff will coordinate a time that works with your schedule and the camp schedule for him/her to call home. Also, in the event of a medical emergency, your child would be allowed to call home.

Can I visit my camper?

How do I sign up my camper for WildsPay?
Parents of campers will receive an email two weeks before camp with a link where they can preload an account for their camper using a debit or credit card. Follow the instructions in the email to add funds for each camper you are sending to camp BEFORE the camper arrives at camp.

Can I add funds to my camper’s WildsPay account using cash?
No. Parents and sponsors will NOT be able to use cash to add funds to a camper’s account. WildsPay can only be funded by a debit or credit card. Parents and sponsors should do their best to have this done BEFORE arriving at camp.

Can my camper use cash at camp instead of using WildsPay?
Yes. All vendors will still accept cash; however, campers will be responsible for any and all cash they bring to camp.

What happens when my camper runs out of money?
Parents will receive an email anytime their camper’s funds drop below $5. Parents can add funds to their camper’s account at any time during a week of camp using a debit or credit card.

What happens to the remaining WildsPay funds at the end of the week?
If the balance is $5 or greater, it will be refunded to the original card used to create the account. If the balance is $4.99 or less, the money will be donated to The Wilds Scholarship Fund or the Current Fundraiser Project.

What if my camper’s WildsPay band is lost or stolen?
If our cashier finds that the account photo does not match the person making the purchase, we will not process the payment and will return the band back to the correct camper. A camper can report his/her band as lost, stolen, or damaged, and we will deactivate it and transfer the funds to a new band.

Yes. We have free wireless internet available to sponsors at several locations on the campsite.

We offer limited on-site sponsor housing on a first-come, first-served basis. There are also a variety of off-site housing options near the campsite. Sponsors are responsible for booking any off-site accommodations.

Do I have a separate schedule from the campers?
While there are scheduled sponsor meetings and prayer times, most of your schedule revolves around the campers.

Will I get to spend any time with my youth group?
Yes! Sponsors are welcome to connect with their group during daily free time in the afternoon or evening. You can organize a group activity, take a group photo, or plan a time of prayer and fellowship.
Many sponsors let their teens know early in the week where they’ll be so everyone can find each other easily.

Is my group able to leave early?
The earliest your group is able to leave is Friday night following the evening service. We do encourage everyone to stay until Saturday morning if possible.

Can all our campers stay in the same cabin?
Our philosophy is based on ministering to the individual, a goal best attained by keeping only two or three campers from the same church in the same cabin. Cabins are divided by junior high and senior high ages. Please submit roommate requests in writing at least 10 days prior to your week of camp.

How do I register?
Registration is completed online at wildsregistration.org. Once your registration and payment are received, you will receive a confirmation email with additional details and preparation information.

Where will I stay?
Housing varies by program and may include cabins, cottages, the Inn, or other off-site accommodations. Reservations are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis after your completed registration and fee are received in our office.
If your requested accommodation is already full, our office will confirm the next available option and place you on a standby list for your first choice. Your registration confirmation email will indicate your assigned housing.

What behavior is expected, and is there anything I shouldn’t bring?
As a Christian organization, The Wilds maintains standards of conduct and separation. Cooperation with staff and participation within program guidelines are expected. Please do not bring any tobacco products, alcoholic beverages, TVs, guns, or ammunition. Guests who use tobacco, alcohol, or illegal drugs, or who refuse to cooperate with camp policies, may be dismissed from camp.

The closest airport is Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT) in Manchester, New Hampshire, located roughly 40 minutes away from our campsite. We do not provide a regular shuttle service.
