Team Games
Providing a fun atmosphere helps break down barriers and encourage relationships that help move campers closer to the Lord. The Wilds is known for our creative games—many are invented right here on the campsite. The energy and excitement of our team games can’t be fully described—you just have to experience it for yourself!
Gameroom
Located below Cool Beans Coffee Shop, the Gameroom is a favorite gathering spot during Freetime. Challenge friends to foosball, carpet ball, giant Connect 4, or shuffleboard bowling—a unique mini bowling game. Whether competing or just laughing together, it’s an easy place to relax and connect.
Tabletop Games
Inside Cool Beans Coffee Shop, gather around a table and enjoy a wide variety of tabletop games with friends while sipping your favorite drink. Choose from classics like Uno, Rummy, Skip-Bo, or Dutch Blitz—perfect for relaxed conversation, laughter, and friendly competition between activities.
Activity Area
The Activity Area brings together many classic camp favorites in one lively space. Challenge a friend at tetherball, Spikeball, horseshoes, giant chess, or cornhole, or jump into fast-paced action in the Gaga Pit or Dodgeball Cage. Whether aiming for precision, strategy, or pure energy, these easy-to-join games keep campers moving, laughing, and making memories throughout the day.
Table Tennis
Head upstairs in Cool Beans Coffee Shop and jump into a fast-paced game of table tennis. Whether rallying casually with friends or battling through an intense match, the loft is almost always buzzing with activity. It’s a favorite hangout where skill, laughter, and friendly competition come together throughout the day.
Pool
Campers also gather in the Cool Beans Coffee Shop loft to line up shots, learn trick plays, and challenge friends in a relaxed game of pool. Whether you’re a seasoned player or just learning the game, it’s a welcoming spot to connect and unwind between activities.
Basketball
Grab a ball and jump into a pickup game on our outdoor courts. With both regulation-height hoops and one lower goal (easy to dunk on), players of all ages and skill levels can join the action. Whether practicing shots or playing a game, basketball is always a popular way to stay active.
Volleyball
Kick off your shoes and hit the sand on our lighted volleyball court. Play casually with friends or compete in an energetic match under the lights. Volleyball combines teamwork, movement, and fun, making it one of the easiest ways for campers to jump into group activity.
9 Square
9 Square blends elements of volleyball and four square into a fast-moving group game everyone can enjoy. Players rotate quickly, keeping the action constant and inclusive. It’s easy to learn, highly social, and perfect for bringing large groups together in friendly competition.
Soccer
Soccer fans will love the fast-paced matches in our enclosed Soccer Arena or enjoy traditional play on an open field. Whether on turf or grass, casual kick-arounds and organized games make soccer one of the favorite Freetime activities at camp.
Mini-Baseball
Take me out to the ball game, Take me out to the crowds… Whether facing off in an intense pick-up game or enjoying a relaxed cabin challenge, mini-baseball is a blast for anyone! With only 95 feet to the center field wall, you’re sure to impress your friends with a grand slam that brings home the winning run.
Disc Golf
Our quick four-hole disc golf course winds throughout the camp property, offering a relaxed way to explore the outdoors. Beginning near the horseshoes and finishing at the top of the hill, the course combines light competition with scenic views, making it enjoyable for beginners and experienced players alike.
Swimming Pool
Cool off and recharge at the camp swimming pool. From cannonballs and water basketball to simply relaxing with friends, the pool offers refreshing fun throughout the hottest part of the day. Certified lifeguards supervise all swim times, creating a safe and enjoyable environment for campers to splash, swim, and unwind.
This activity is available only during summer camps.
Wading Pool
The wading pool provides a shallow, relaxed space perfect for cooling off without fully diving in. It’s an easy place to gather with friends, enjoy the sunshine, and take a refreshing break between activities during warm camp afternoons. Certified lifeguards supervise all swim times.

Zipline
Pick up your harness at the base of the landing tower and head up the hill to begin your thrilling, 940-foot-long descent back to the 35-foot-high landing pad. Your aerial cruise over the ballfield could take you at speeds up to 31 miles per hour.
The Jump
From the 35-foot-high tower, take the “easy way down” and jump off the platform with a harness and our special free-fall rappelling system.
This activity is available to teen and adult campers.
Laser Tag
Step into an action-packed arena up at our Mystery Mansion. Players navigate a multi-level environment using infrared blasters to tag opponents and complete team objectives. Strategy, teamwork, and quick movement combine for exciting action without mess or impact.
Archery Tag
Archery Tag blends elements of dodgeball and archery into a fast-moving team game. Using bows and foam-tipped arrows, players dodge, aim, and strategize to tag opponents safely. The result is a unique mix of accuracy, teamwork, and nonstop excitement.
This activity is available during summer Teen Camp.
Bazooka Ball
Bazooka Ball turns friendly competition into pure fun. Using specially modified launchers that fire soft foam balls, players compete in a netted woodland arena filled with laughter and fast action. It’s energetic, lighthearted, and quickly becomes a camper favorite.
This activity is available to juniors attending Junior Camp.
Firepits
Nothing says camp like gathering around a fire. Whether enjoying ice cream nearby or sitting with friends under the evening sky, our firepit areas provide a warm and welcoming place to slow down, share stories, and enjoy meaningful conversation together.
Courtyard
The Courtyard serves as a central gathering place where campers naturally connect throughout the day. Adirondack chairs invite relaxation while friends talk, laugh, and watch camp life unfold around them, making it a simple but meaningful place to pause between activities.
The Cross
Situated at the top of the hill, the Cross overlooks the entire property and offers one of the most peaceful views on site. Many campers come here to pray, reflect, or reset, making it a meaningful place to step away from activity and focus on our Lord.
Gazebo
Overlooking a gentle creek, the gazebo provides a shaded place for conversation, personal devotions, counseling, or a quiet picnic lunch. Its calm setting makes it a natural retreat for campers seeking rest during a busy day.
Perimeter Path
This peaceful woodland trail circles the edge of camp in a relaxing twenty-minute walk. Beginning near Mystery Mansion and ending by the Cross, the path offers quiet scenery and space to think, talk, or simply enjoy the beauty of the outdoors.
The Barn Porch
The screened-in Barn Porch offers a peaceful space used for God & I Time, counseling conversations, prayer, and reflection. During summer it becomes a quiet retreat, while in the fall it provides a comfortable place to relax and watch zipline riders pass overhead.
Funtime
We have two main goals for our campers. We want them to grow closer to the Lord, and we want them to have lots of fun! From the youngest to the oldest camper, everyone likes to laugh! Funtime has been a tradition at The Wilds from the very beginning, regardless of the time of year. So sit back, relax, and enjoy some crazy skits, never-before-seen inventions, and wacky songs!

Souvenirs
General Store
The General Store is stocked with everything campers need for both camp and beyond. Pick up forgotten essentials, team apparel, hoodies, and spirit gear to represent your team throughout the week. You’ll also find carefully selected books, devotionals, and music designed to encourage spiritual growth long after camp ends, helping campers take meaningful reminders of their time at The Wilds home with them.
Craft Shop
Parked in the courtyard, Murphy, the Craft Truck, gives campers a creative break during Freetime. Step up and choose from a rotating variety of hands-on crafts like shrinky dinks, jewelry-making, painting projects, and more. Whether creating a gift or a personal keepsake, Murphy offers a fun, relaxed space where imagination comes to life and campers leave with something uniquely their own.

Dining Hall
We hear all the time that our food is awesome! We promise that you will not go hungry at The Wilds. Our kitchen staff works hard to prepare balanced meals that our campers will enjoy. While some of our summer camp meals are served outside buffet-style, most happen in the Dining Hall, sitting down with a smiling waitress bringing food to your table. That means no waiting in line for seconds (or thirds or fourths)!
Cool Beans Coffee Shop
Housed in a historic carriage house dating back to the late 1700s, Cool Beans Coffee Shop is a favorite gathering place at camp. Enjoy specialty coffees, hot chocolate, smoothies, teas, freezes, and boba-filled lemonades while relaxing by the fireplace or on the porch. Whether talking with friends, playing games, or finding a quiet corner during Freetime, Cool Beans blends cozy atmosphere with unforgettable camp memories.
Sweet Shoppe
Step into our 1950s-style Sweet Shoppe and enjoy an air-conditioned escape filled with ice cream, candy, floats, pretzels, and classic treats. Grab a milkshake or a towering cone, slide onto a stool with friends, and listen for the cheerful welcome from staff as you walk in. It’s the perfect place to cool off, laugh together, and enjoy one of camp’s sweetest traditions.
